Please help keep the orchard looking so beautiful! Here are a few tasks we hope to complete:
Native Gardens: Weeding, and removing invasive plants, collecting seeds from mid-season bloomers, and dividing or transplanting perennials to fill in gaps when not too hot. Seed and replant disturb areas. Prepare areas for Fall seeding and planting.
Fruit Trees & Shrubs: Prune water sprouts and root suckers from our apple and pear trees. Continue harvest of pears.
General Maintenance: Picking up any trash or debris and removing invasive species. Seed recently disturbed areas.
Hope to see you there and stay cool, or at least hydrated!
